Republic Forest Industries Association is created according to the current legislation of Belarus and the Constituent contract from January 30, 2006 between Joint Stock Company "Profitsystem", Joint Stock Company "Belwoodgard", Joint Stock Company "IrionWood", Joint Stock Company "Skaiforest".
The basic purpose of the Association is to increase efficiency and safety of enterprise activity of enterprises - members of the Association.
The Association is created for propagation and realization of generally useful activity of its members, coordination of their activity, studying, generalization and representation of their interests in state and other bodies as well as in international organizations, financing and realization of investment projects, support of innovative activity. The Association renders consulting, legal and information services to its members, creates necessary industrial and social infrastructures for business in forestry, timber cutting, woodworking, bioenergetics and adjacent areas. Stateowned as well as private enterprises may be members of the Association. The Association of wood enterprises allows them to generate consolidated, independent of concrete economic interest opinion which will influence decisionmaking in forestry, woodworking, bioenergetics spheres. The Association is necessary for the state as the partner to form and improve legal base in wood business.
The Associationis a noncommercial organization operating on the basis of the legislation of Belarus, the Charter of the Association. The following bodies manage within their competence the activity of the Association:
- General meeting of members of the Association;
- Council of the Association;
- Executive body of the Association.
The supreme body of the Association is the General meeting of the members.
The Council of the Association manages the Association's activity between sessions of the General meeting of the Association's members.
The Executive body of the Association - General Director, fulfils current management of the Association's activity and performs decisions of the General meeting and the Council of the Association.
